Weekend update

Lucas has reached the stage where he wants to be around other kids and play with different toys. So this week I took him to the Ontario Early Years Centre in our area and he loved it! I don't know why we haven't gone to this place before. I guess I wasn't expecting it to be so nice and clean! When we arrived, we were greeting by Jill, Lucas' favourite class leader. We know her from the satellite office at the Scarborough Town Centre. That location has a sing-along every week, but this one is much bigger with a better variety of activities. We'll be visiting regularly from now on. We've already met a few other moms and babies.











Last night we were invited for dinner at Rose & Jeffrey's place. We hadn't had a chance to get together with them for a few months so it was so great to see them both again. Lucas had fun crawling after Rose and imitating Jeffrey. He came home with a cool Cars pillow and PJ set which he slept in last night. Lucas woke up this morning with crazy hair. This afternoon, for the first time, Lucas climbed the stairs from the family room to the kitchen. Now Lucas is able to visit Mochi, who we have moved into the dining room/living room on the same floor as the kitchen. Poor Mochi thought he was safe from Lucas - guess he was wrong.
