Lucas' week

We're getting pretty bad at updating this blog. Here's what Lucas was up to this past week.

Lucas joined Mommy for lunch with her co-workers, Amy and Ian (Ian didn't make it into the photo). We meet Amy frequently as she updates Mommy on all the stuff happening at work! Doesn't seem like Mommy's missing anything but all the headaches! :)


We went to the zoo with Colleen and Mathias (almost 2 years old) on Wednesday which was the hottest day of the week. We ended up leaving after a couple hours and went to the splash pad instead and got soaked! Here's a picture of little Mathias checking out the fish.





Colleen came to visit us on Friday. She had the week off work which is why we saw her twice this week! She ended up leaving Mathias at home as he had just begun his nap. Don't worry, she didn't leave him home alone. He was with her mom!







Then on Friday, Lucas went to his very first drive-in. We saw Superbad which was pretty funny, but we ended up leaving after the first 10 minutes of the second movie, Stardust. Partly because Lucas was a bit fidgety but mainly because both Mommy and Daddy aren't into fantasy-type movies. It was nice to get out and see a movie again. We haven't seen one since Lucas was born.











And last but not least, we went to cousin Harumi's condo-warming party last night. We had been there a few times already, but not with the other cousins. Plus we love taking Lucas out to family functions as everyone is more than happy to help with Lucas' feedings and even diaper changes - thanks Tanya! The event marked Auntie Tanya's first solo diaper change and it was a poo! Now she's ready to babysit!!
